Should I get Canon G12, IXUS 1000 HS or Sony Tx7?
I’m going to get a new camera with good video capture quality as well as performance under low light. So Canon G12, IXUS 1000 HS and Sony Tx7 are my choices. Now I’m stuck in dilemma and hope to get professional advices here! Thank you!

My favorite subject:) I highly recommend you visit the Kata Bag Chooser (you can google it). Kata makes bags specifically for digital equipment- they use materials designed to reduce vibrations and static that can be detrimental to your sensor… they also make military armor, fyi.
So- the ‘bag chooser’ is a web site that allows you to specify your camera and it will tell you which of their bags will perfectly fit your gear! I have several different bags by different manufacturers (Tenba, Lowepro, Kata, Domke, Calumet), and while they are all great bags, the Kata is my favorite and gets the most use. They are ergonomic, stylish, and easy to carry. Also- they will fix the bag if it breaks! Great service.
